BADBOT
A downloadable game
Today I’m sharing Badbot, an action prototype where the main goal is to destroy as many enemy drones as possible before being taken down. As time progresses, more enemies appear and become increasingly aggressive, making survival harder. The challenge: reach 100 points before losing 💥
It is a practice of C++ and Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5, where I explored several core systems of the engine:
🎯 Physics and Query Collision Systems
🔧 Setup of Custom Trace Channels, Object Channels, and Collision Presets
💥 Creation of visual effects using Niagara, including blaster beams, explosions, and other particles
🖥️ Interactive UI using Widgets with health/damage feedback, player score, and HUD integration
🔁 Use of functions, interfaces, and class communication
🚥 Pool Object system
🎶MetaSounds Systems to make difference between audio records
🎚️ Advanced Input System Mapping
